BOULDER, COLORADO: A DAY TRIP ITINERARY FOR OUTDOOR ENTHUSIASTS

Intro

Boulder is a city at the foothills of the Rocky Mountains. It’s surrounded by mountains and there are many beautiful scenic places to visit in this lovely city. If you are staying in Denver this is a quick day trip adventure since Boulder is only 1 hour away.

John and I visited Boulder in October and we enjoyed seeing the colors of the leaves starting to change. The weather was also perfect for hiking and being outdoors. We rented a car with Turo, which is a car sharing company and is really easy to use and more affordable than renting a car in my opinion.

This 24 hour itinerary will give you some of the best places to see in Boulder Colorado. I hope you have an amazing time!

Highlight: Sunset view at Flagstaff Mountain

Favorite Activity: Hiking with beautiful views of the mountains

Must Do: See the Boulder Falls

Whether you’re admiring the natural beauty or exploring the downtown area, a day in Boulder promises unforgettable experiences and memories. This is one of our favorite trips that John and I have done, we still talk about the magical sunset we experience over the city, it’s truly breathtaking. We really enjoyed how Boulder has a lot of natural beauty but you can also have a fun night walking around Pearl Street Mall and eating at different eateries.
